\nGuided river fly fishing tuition<\/strong> (duration 8 h) includes:<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

Discovering the rivers and streams of the Monts d\u2019Arr\u00e9e Mountains (according to the season and prevailing water levels).<\/h4>\n

NB\u00a0: Wading is only allowed after April 30th in the Finist\u00e8re territory, including the Elorn river.<\/p>\n

Starting in early May:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Lower Elorn: fishing on Mondays, Wednesday, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.<\/li>\n
  • Upper Elorn: Fishing every day.<\/li>\n
  • River Aulne, Penz\u00e9, Hy\u00e8res, Rivers of Morlaix, Rivi\u00e8re d’Argent, Guillec, Horn, L\u00e9guer, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Educational contents guided river fly fishing tuition:<\/h4>\n

    Depending on your actual level, I will adjust and teach some of the required basics of fly fishing wild rivers<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Approach: bank and wade fishing.<\/li>\n
    • Reading the water, learning the lies, profile and structure of a river.<\/li>\n
    • Recognizing productive water.<\/li>\n
    • Choice of fly.<\/li>\n
    • Entomology basics.<\/li>\n
    • Learning aquatic invertebrates (the major species of aquatic insects, crustaceans and relevant terrestrial insects involved in a trout\u2019s diet).<\/li>\n
    • The stages of natural aquatic insects (larvae, nymph, dun, spinner, spent) and the corresponding imitations (nymphs, wet flies, emergers, \u201cflymph\u201d, pupae, \u201cstillborn\u201d, dry flies (duns and spinners), spent).<\/li>\n
    • Other noteworthy prey (crustaceans, terrestrial insects, forage fish) and the corresponding imitations:\u00a0streamers and lures, shrimps, hog lice, caterpillars \u2026<\/li>\n
    • Learning relevant forage fish (gudgeon, minnows, sculpin, lampreys, etc…).<\/li>\n
    • Making the right cast in the right situation: classic cast, backhand cast, steeple cast, roll cast, bow-and arrow cast, sidearm cast, vertical cast.<\/li>\n
    • Presentations, dead drift and setting the hook.<\/li>\n
    • Fighting the fish, ethical treatment of the fish, releasing the fish, dispatching a keeper fish.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][mk_divider style=”padding_space”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]\n

      My guiding includes :<\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][mk_divider style=”padding_space” margin_top=”0″][vc_column_text]Tuition<\/strong> (duration 8\/9 h), transportation<\/strong> to and from the rivers (with the exception of the C\u00f4tes d\u2019Armor territory, which is subject to an additional petrol fee)<\/p>\n

      Not included: Fishing licenses: 13\u20ac\/day (please provide your address and birth details), lodging and food.<\/p>\n
